Improve My Process are based in Bolton, Lancashire and is headed up by Steven Honour MBA, DMS, CMS and Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management. We have over 45 years experience in the manufacturing industry and provide the development and delivery of lean leadership training & lean six sigma implementation strategies to improve business process and profitability for our clients.

Leadership Foundations Programme
The promotion happens. The training doesn't.
Most newly promoted managers in manufacturing get the title, the responsibility, and very little else. The Leadership Foundations Programme is a structured nine-module mentoring programme, delivered one-to-one over 3-4 months - practical, applied and built entirely for the shop floor. Delivered by video call, wherever you are.

What does a lean manufacturing consultant do?
A lean consultant works with your managers and teams to find and remove waste, improve flow and quality, and set up the daily routines (such as SQCDP boards, 5S and root cause problem solving) that keep performance improving. Steven Honour works on the shop floor with the people doing the job, so the improvements stick.
Where are you based and which areas do you cover?
Improve My Process is based at 81 Highfield Drive, Farnworth, Bolton BL4 0RR. Steve now spends much of his time in France and works mainly by video call, so location is no barrier - Bolton, the North West, the UK or anywhere Worldwide. He has worked with clients in France, Spain, Holland, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Australia and the United States.
Can you work with us online?
Yes - that is how most of the work is now done. Consultations, mentoring, problem-solving coaching and the nine-module Leadership Foundations Programme are all delivered by video call, with factory visits by arrangement where they add value.
How do we get started?
With a free video consultation, so Steve can understand your operation and what you need - you can walk him round the floor on camera. You then agree the focus and the format, and each session ends with clear actions and a review of progress.
